Favorite Books and Stories
What are some of the favorite books and stories in your home or classroom?
We invite children around the world to share information about their favorite books and stories. Details have yet to be determined but the idea is to have an online book review where children can share something about books they like. Adults are also welcome to review children’s books (maybe their favorites growing up) and submit their reviews.
The books can be written in any language. The reviews can also be written in any language, but please provide an English translation with your submission.
This exchange will primarily take place electronically through email and via the web. However, classrooms may also submit their reviews via regular mail. Contact the Activity Coordinator for additional information.
If possible, you can send a link to purchase the book and scan the book cover.
Teachers please submit suggestions for a template and/or an online fill-in-the-blank form. We hope to create pages that are easy to print so you can make your own book of reviews for your classroom. We will have categories for different reading levels.
A spin off of this project might be to send books from one classroom to another in a type of book exchange.
